has been the basis of a work that has reached addicts throughout the world
with the gospel of Christ.

worker is his first calling. He is centred in the Portadown area, but travels

Ireland prior to coming into the work. He uses his gifts with young people
to develop material for education of youth and the training of adults. He

James Hawthorn
James used to be motivated by money and the desire for "the good things in life". In 2002, he sought help from Stauros and he soon realised that his need was spiritual and that his life was full of guilt, fear and shame. In November 2002, James handed the load of sin to the Lord and was set free. He is now married to Nicola and they have been blessed with the arrival of son Caleb in 2006. James has known the call of God in his life since he was saved and, since February 2007, he has been a full time worker with Stauros in Scotland.
Roy and Pamela Brown
Pamela has been with Stauros for some years now while Roy
has come on full time at Ballyards from the beginning 2005. Pamela works
alongside her local church ministering to the needs of ladies in the Belfast
area. Ladies would come to her at Ballyards and she travels to other parts
of the province to do one-to-one ministry and discipleship. Roy is manager
at Ballyards, which includes teaching and one-to-one work.
Woody and Elaine Price
Woody
works with Stauros in a joint role, not only supporting the work at Ballyards
but also has a community work centred in Banbridge. He and Elaine have three
daughters and he has been in the work since 1998.
George and Valerie MacGregor
George
came to Ballyards in 1999 to help as a volunteer. Since then he has married
Valerie and now works fulltime in a joint role as support to Ballyards and
also in the community.
Linda McCredie
Linda
was converted through the Stauros ministry in the 80's and has a diploma
in counselling from the University of Strathclyde. She joined the team in
1999. Her ministry among women is exceptional and is based in Parkhead,
Scotland. She also helps in the training of staff.
