From its beginnings in 1980 in Findlay Memorial Church, Glasgow, Stauros has grown to work in Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland, England,Wales, the Isle of Man, and into North and South America.

Arthur and Beth Williams

Photo of Arthur and BethArthur, until recently, was the General director of Stauros and has pioneered a work throughout the UK and Ireland and also further afield. God's revelation to him in 1971 has been the basis of a work that has reached addicts throughout the world with the gospel of Christ.

Tom and Linda Eakins

Photo of Tom and LindaTom is a Trustee in the UK and a member of the Board with Stauros in the USA, but his role as a community worker is his first calling. He is centred in the Portadown area, but travels throughout the province and the USA. Linda works two days a week as the cook in Ballyards.

Michael and Rose Williams

Photo of Rose and MichaelMichael is now the General director of Stauros but was the RE advisor for the Western Education and Library board in Northern Ireland prior to coming into the work. He uses his gifts with young people to develop material for education of youth and the training of adults. He also is a community worker centred around Ballymoney/Coleraine area.

Roy and Pamela Brown

Photo of Roy and PamelaPamela has been with Stauros for some years now while Roy has come on full time at Ballyards from the beginning 2005. Pamela works alongside her local church ministering to the needs of ladies in the Belfast area. Ladies would come to her at Ballyards and she travels to other parts of the province to do one-to-one ministry and discipleship. Roy is manager at Ballyards, which includes teaching and one-to-one work.

Woody and Elaine Price

Photo of Woody and Elaine PriceWoody works with Stauros in a joint role, not only supporting the work at Ballyards but also has a community work centred in Banbridge. He and Elaine have three daughters and he has been in the work since 1998.

George and Valerie MacGregor

Photo of George and ValerieGeorge came to Ballyards in 1999 to help as a volunteer. Since then he has married Valerie and now works fulltime in a joint role as support to Ballyards and also in the community.

Linda McCredie

Photo of LyndaLinda was converted through the Stauros ministry in the 80's and has a diploma in counselling from the University of Strathclyde. She joined the team in 1999. Her ministry among women is exceptional and is based in Parkhead, Scotland. She also helps in the training of staff.

Alex Newcomb

Photo of Alex Newcomb and familyAlex Newcomb is our worker in ROI and he is based in Waterford. He has been with Stauros since 2004. Alex is married to Leah and has two school aged children.

Frank Murray

Photo of Frank MurrayFrank Murray has been with Stauros since January 2007. He currently works at Ballyards Castle during pastoral care and helping the men with practical work. Frank is married to Linda and has five grown children and four grandchildren.

Gordon Buist

Gordon Buist and FamilyGordon Buist has been with Stauros since September 2009 and works in the Isle of Man doing pastoral care. He is pictured here with his wife Jen and daughters Jadene and Danielle.

Janet McCullough

She also works with women in the community providing pastoral care and one to one support. Janet lives in Carrickfergus and is married to Michael and has two daughters Loren and Katy.

Paul and Lynne Murphy

Photo of Paul and Lynne MurrayPaul was saved through the work of Stauros after meeting Laurence Hennessy. He came into the work in 1998 and, centred in Bolton, is developing ministry in areas such as London and Coventry. Paul works with New Hope in Leeds as a trustee and Stauros have assisted and helped with training seminars. He also has a desire to develop work in India.
